About the role

Campbelltown & K (C&K) is a child-safe organisation and Queensland's leading provider of early childhood education, with a history of more than 116 years. As an Educator at its Rockhampton centres, you will work with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and the wider community. The role covers sick days, programming, extended leave and lunch breaks.

Key responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, families and the community.
• Work across childcare centres and kindergartens to gain experience in a variety of early childhood learning settings.
• Cover sick days, programming, extended leave and lunch breaks.
• Support inclusion, with Inclusion Support Assistant shifts available of up to 20 hours per week.

Required profile

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood and Care.
• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an equivalent early childhood qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current police check within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
• Completed National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.
• Passion for high-quality outcomes for children, families and the community, and a team-player mindset.

What we offer

• Wage of $40.58 to $75.89 per hour plus superannuation depending on qualifications and role.
• Nationally recognised early childhood qualification through subsidised training at C&K College, with scholarships of $3,000 to $35,000.
• Possibility of permanent employment.
• Flexible hours and days, with you controlling your availability.
