Early Childhood Teacher (Sydney Campuses)

About the role

OAC Grow, part of Only About Children, is recruiting full-time Early Childhood Teachers for its Sydney campuses. The schools serve children aged 0 to 6 and use a child-led, play-based curriculum. The position is open to teachers at Level 1 to 5 and Teacher Award, with pay of $78,882 to $109,154 depending on level and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement an educational program that takes a holistic view of each child's development
• Maintain ongoing records of children's development, program planning and daily information
• Support daily room tasks, including activity preparation, mealtimes and routines
• Deliver high-quality service in line with the National Quality Standards and comply with government regulations
• Guide team members with professional development, individual goals and performance
• Partner with families and educators to support children's learning, wellbeing and school readiness

Required profile

• Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or an equivalent ACECQA-approved teaching qualification
• Valid NESA registration, Early Childhood
• At least two years of full-time work experience after accreditation
• Valid Working with Children Check number; successful candidates must complete all required working with children, background and compliance checks

Required skills

• Experience planning and implementing an educational program that values holistic child development
• Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
• Effective implementation of pedagogy in teaching practice
