Centre Director - Early Learning Centre

About the role

Kool Beanz North Queensland operates three early childhood services, including Goldsmith, a two-level centre for children aged six weeks to six years with a licensed capacity of 102. It is seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead the Goldsmith team, combining strategic centre management with active involvement in daily service life. The role is supported by an experienced Area Manager and a Support Management Team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, enrolments, budgets and compliance
• Lead recruitment and support the professional development of educators
• Drive the delivery of high-quality education and care and foster a positive team culture
• Build strong relationships with families, educators and the local community
• Maintain Quality Assurance and accreditation standards, implement VEYLDF and comply with NQF and NQS frameworks
• Keep accurate documentation, reporting and compliance records

Required profile

• 4+ years' experience as a Centre Director
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education (ACECQA approved)
• Knowledge of EYLF, NQF, NQS and Child Safe Standards
• Current Working With Children Check, current police check, first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma certifications, Food Safety Supervisor certificate and Geccko Child Safety Certificate
