About the role

Nido Early School is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join its Swan View campus. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality early learning experiences grounded in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, fostering curiosity, confidence and a strong sense of identity in each child.

Key responsibilities

• Set and monitor learning goals with children, families and colleagues, ensuring achievable challenges for every child.
• Model and mentor best educational practices aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach.
• Support fellow educators to nurture children’s wellbeing, confidence and connection to the world.
• Design diverse, engaging learning environments that spark curiosity and wonder.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA‑equivalent qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Teacher Registration.
• Commitment to the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy.

Required skills

• Knowledge of early childhood curriculum development.
• Ability to create stimulating, child‑centred learning spaces.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and staff.
