Early Childhood Teacher (Kindergarten)

About the role

Eden Academy Ellen Grove is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to run its Kindergarten program. The centre is open 6:30am to 6:30pm and serves 85 children in a large, architecturally designed space with frequent updates to its resources. Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, engaging Kindergarten program for 85 children
• Focus on school readiness and guide young learners with care and intention
• Design programs and foster meaningful, thought-provoking conversations
• Inspire a lifelong love of learning and help children become independent, curious and resilient learners
• Connect warmly with families and the local community

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Current Working with Children Check
• Full Australian working rights
• Professional, polished presence and warm approach
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in childcare or education

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver inspiring Kindergarten programs
