Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III)

About the role

St Nicholas Early Education supports families in nurturing and inspiring children so they can flourish at home, in care and in communities. It is seeking Early Childhood Educators holding a Certificate III to join its well-established service at Gillieston Heights on a permanent full-time basis. Candidates can grow in their role through a variety of learning and development pathways.

Required profile

• An approved Certificate III qualification for education and care services, in line with national law and regulations
• Child protection qualification
• Current First Aid certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management training
• Working with Children Check verification number

Required skills

• Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF)
• Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Understanding of child protection and mandatory reporting
• Understanding of workplace health and safety issues and practices
