Early Career Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist – Autism Therapy

Key responsibilities

• Support 3–4 participants per day in community settings.
• Collaborate with participants, families and support networks to develop functional, strengths‑based strategies.
• Deliver person‑centred support and build practical skills for everyday life.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and transition to managing your own caseload.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology.
• 1–3 years’ experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
• Interest in working with autistic people and neurodivergence.
• Willingness to work in community‑based settings.
• AHPRA registration (OT) or Speech Pathology Australia membership.

Required skills

• Positive Behaviour Support training.
• Autism‑specific therapeutic approaches.
