Driver Trainer – Wacol, Queensland

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Driver Trainer to join our Wacol site. In this role you will deliver high‑quality training, coaching and assessments to Toll drivers, ensuring compliance with legislation, safety standards and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver driver training programmes including induction, onboarding, equipment operation and refresher sessions.
• Conduct competency assessments for new hires and existing drivers and produce detailed reports.
• Coach drivers on safe, compliant and efficient practices such as fatigue management and load restraint.
• Maintain training records and ensure mandatory compliance documentation is up to date.
• Support investigations into driver incidents and help implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Training Managers to identify training needs and schedule future sessions.
• Assist in developing training materials using adult‑learning methodologies.

Required profile

• Current heavy‑vehicle driver licence (LF Ticket) and preferably a MC licence.
• Experience as a qualified trainer and assessor with strong coaching abilities.
• Solid understanding of transport compliance and safety regulations.
• Ability to analyse training needs and produce clear documentation.
