Driver Trainer – Field Based

About the role

Supagas is seeking a motivated Driver Trainer to deliver skills‑based and compliance‑driven training across its New South Wales branches. The role is field‑based, Sydney‑based and offers autonomy to plan and manage your schedule while making a tangible operational impact.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and assess training programs for new and existing employees across NSW sites, focusing on safety and operational compliance.
• Review and improve training materials in line with legislative, operational, and industry changes.
• Manage training documentation and competency profiles, monitoring employee progress.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster continuous learning and operational improvement.
• Track and report training outcomes in the LMS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Required profile

• Dangerous Goods (Cryogenics) experience is highly regarded.
• HR Driver Licence (MC preferred) and willingness to obtain or hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• Proven ability to mentor drivers and provide safety‑focused training.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly.
• Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Experience delivering training to drivers, ideally in transport or related industries.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking and reporting.
