Domestic Assistant – Busselton

About the role

Silverchain is recruiting Domestic Assistants for a casual role, mainly needed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 4pm. Assistants support clients to stay independent through domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support, travelling between clients' homes and following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.

Key responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs
• Provide social support and help clients stay engaged in their community
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes
• Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently

Required profile

• Must live in one of the listed towns around Busselton, such as Busselton, Capel, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Walyabrup
• 3-6 months of domestic or industrial cleaning experience
• Valid driver's licence with unrestricted access to a registered, insured and in good condition vehicle
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Casual rate of $43.03 including 25% loading and superannuation
