Document Controller - Transmission Project

About the role

ACCIONA is recruiting a Document Controller for a transmission project, reporting to the Quality Manager. The role keeps project drawings, documents and records accurate, current and traceable so engineering, construction, quality and safety teams work from the right revisions. It is based in the project office in Metro Melbourne and involves training the wider project team.

Key responsibilities

• Control project documents and records so teams work from current revisions
• Number, title, file and distribute drawings and documents accurately in TeamBinder, the main project communication system
• Audit document control activities and report issues with solutions
• Prepare regular document control reports for the project team
• Train and support project team members in TeamBinder and document control
• Support quality and completion management and project administration

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role
• White Card (face to face) and current Rail Industry Worker card
• Current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Ability to learn AutoCAD and MicroStation
• TeamBinder and corporate environment experience desirable
• The role is regional and includes the option to be based at camp as required
