Document Controller - Energy Transmission Project

About the role

Following a recent project win for an Energy Transmission Project, ACCIONA is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller in Melbourne. The role keeps project documentation accurate, accessible and up to date, so that teams always work from the latest approved revisions and records meet project and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the project's Document Control and Documentation Management Plan.
• Manage the accurate upload, distribution and filing of project documents, records and correspondence.
• Carry out regular audits, monitoring and quality checks of document control and records management.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of document control procedures and compliance checks.
• Maintain TeamBinder as the main platform for project communication and document management, keeping drawing and document revisions updated, replicated and distributed.
• Monitor document workflows so they are processed, approved and distributed in time across project stakeholders.
• Maintain a structured, auditable document management system supporting project delivery and compliance.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Document Controller, Project Administrator or similar, ideally in construction, engineering, infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to handle competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work across project teams.
• Proactive, collaborative and committed to high standards of document control.

Required skills

• Experience with document management systems such as TeamBinder, InEight or RIB CX is highly regarded.
