About the role
The Distribution Operator is responsible for handling packages throughout the shipping process. This role involves loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages within a UPS facility.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment.
- Ship and receive items, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Scan packages to track movement and maintain system accuracy.
- Sort and stock packages in designated areas.
- Operate heavy machinery as needed to complete tasks efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required profile
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and move packages regularly.
- Attention to detail for accurate scanning and sorting.
