Distribution Centre Team Member

About the role

As a valued member of Codan's Distribution Team, you will support the efficient assembly, packing, and shipment of customer orders. The role requires careful handling of goods, strong teamwork, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast‑moving warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unpack and inspect goods from internal and external suppliers.
• Organise, verify, pack and weigh customer orders for shipment.
• Liaise daily with freight and courier drivers regarding pick‑up schedules, loading, unloading and shipment documentation.
• Prepare and consolidate packing lists in line with company quality standards.
• Assist with goods receipt and inventory flow to meet production demand.
• Maintain accurate stock control and transaction recording in SAP.
• Support continuous improvement of quality processes and identify efficiency opportunities.

Required profile

• Proactive, reliable team player with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and quality.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and maintain high safety standards.
• Ideally holds a forklift licence and demonstrates a can‑do attitude.
