Display Designer (Residential)

About the role

Metricon Homes is seeking a Display Designer to join its Display Design team. You will create high‑quality design solutions that align with project briefs and the Metricon Design Philosophy, supporting the delivery of award‑winning living spaces for Australian families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide display design support and produce design documentation in line with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building standards, design guidelines, and regulatory codes.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct design reviews of working drawings and support site‑related documentation.
• Manage workflow, time‑keeping and site‑design coordination.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Building Design & Drafting, Architectural Drafting or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years experience in residential design or drafting, preferably with a volume home builder.
• Strong understanding of building, planning and sustainability codes and standards.
• Ability to learn new systems and work within a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (essential).
• Proficiency with the current Microsoft Office suite.
