Dispenser Service Technician

About the role

Mapei is looking for a Dispenser Service Technician to provide on‑site technical service and support for dispensing equipment used in the construction industry. You will work across Australia, ensuring installations, maintenance and repairs are carried out safely and efficiently to maximise customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, assemble, calibrate, maintain and repair dispensing equipment (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
• Diagnose faults, execute timely repairs and minimise downtime.
• Support customers on correct equipment use, basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Plan and carry out installations in coordination with the supervisor.
• Build strong relationships with customers to aid contract retention and growth.
• Provide on‑site technical assistance and resolve equipment/application issues.
• Respond promptly to service requests, including on‑call duties and occasional travel.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing, maintaining and repairing dispensing or similar equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to work on wiring, plumbing and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyse and resolve technical issues independently.
• Relevant licences (e.g., electrical disconnect/reconnect) are desirable.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel throughout Australia.
