Dispensary Technician - Part-Time

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart Blackburn North is a well-established community pharmacy in Melbourne's north-eastern suburbs, offering a broad range of professional services and healthcare solutions. It is looking for a part-time Dispensary Technician, working up to 32 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, with consistent hours and a good balance of flexibility and stability. The role is based in the dispensary and supports the accurate and efficient delivery of pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Support the pharmacy's nursing home services and associated dispensary duties.
• Manage dispensary stock, including monitoring inventory and ordering as required.
• Assist in promoting pharmacy services, including care clinic services and rewards programs.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician in a community pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of pharmacy processes and associated administrative tasks.
• Customer-focused approach with a genuine passion for patient care.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer service.
• Right to live and work in Australia.
