Disability Support Practitioner – Part‑Time

About the role

The Disability Support Practitioner role at CPA provides high‑quality, person‑centred support to people with disabilities in a group home setting. You will help clients live as independently as possible while supporting their daily wellbeing, dignity and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and household activities.
• Provide personal care respectfully (e.g., showering, toileting).
• Administer medication according to care plans.
• Support mobility and manual handling, including use of hoists.
• Monitor and document client wellbeing and report changes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Commitment to person‑centred care.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence (minimum P2).
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working With Children Check.
• First Aid & CPR certification.
