Director/Teacher - Group B Kindergarten

About the role

Campbelltown Kindergarten (C&K) Stretton is looking for a Director/Teacher for its Group B unit, an end-of-the-week position working alongside the Group A Director/Teacher. The role is supported by the Area Manager and Pedagogy Advisor and delivers C&K's play-based Kindergarten program. It is a permanent part-time position of 37.5 hours per fortnight, running 7:30am to 3:00pm on Thursdays, Fridays and alternating Wednesdays during the school term, starting Term 1, 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Guide a team of educators who build genuine relationships with families and support each child's confidence and curiosity.
• Create a strong sense of community where everyone feels welcome.
• Work closely with the Group A Director/Teacher and the Area Manager and Pedagogy Advisor.
• Inspire young minds while delivering the play-based Kindergarten program.

Required profile

• An ACECQA-approved Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Completed National Child Safety Training (Foundation and Advanced Certificates, Courses 1 to 5).
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card and a current Police Check.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards, the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
