Director - Technology Strategy and Transformation

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a strategic technology leader to shape and deliver technology‑led transformation programmes for government and public‑sector clients in Western Australia. The role involves partnering with senior executives to translate policy and service‑delivery priorities into practical technology strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior government executives and technology leaders to define and execute transformation strategies aligned to agency priorities.
• Lead complex programmes such as operating model redesign, digital transformation, core platform modernisation, AI initiatives and regulatory technology projects.
• Provide end‑to‑end advisory across vision, roadmap, governance, implementation, adoption and operational transition.
• Manage programme financials, forecasting, P&L accountability and delivery efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technology‑enabled transformation programmes within GPS sectors (education, health, justice, infrastructure, etc.).
• Strong understanding of government operating models, regulatory constraints, risk and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success in originating and converting consulting opportunities and expanding strategic accounts.
