Director, Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital

About the role

Adelaide University is seeking a Director for Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital (RVH), a large-scale veterinary teaching hospital at the Roseworthy Campus of the College of Science. The role leads a high-performing clinical teaching enterprise at the intersection of education, professional practice, research and community service, reporting to the Executive Director, College of Science and joining the College Professional leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic, people-focused leadership and guide the hospital's strategic direction, working across the University and with key stakeholders
• Build on the hospital's strengths and identify opportunities for growth, innovation and impact
• Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Deliver outstanding clinical services and an exceptional learning environment for veterinary students and professionals
• Inspire multidisciplinary teams, drive growth and strengthen partnerships

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in senior people leadership roles leading multidisciplinary teams
• Proven ability to build positive workplace cultures and develop people
• Experience driving business growth, financial sustainability and organisational performance
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and negotiation skills
