Director of Sales – Australia

About the role

The Director of Sales will lead sales strategy and execution for Kids2 across Australia and New Zealand, working closely with major retailers, distributors and internal teams to drive revenue and margin growth.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales to retailers, distribution channels and new business opportunities, meeting KPIs for sales and margin.
• Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with retailer leadership, acting as the main point of contact for all internal departments.
• Lead, hire, train and manage a local and global sales team, handling performance reviews, rewards and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and monitor sales forecasts, profitability analysis and strategic volume planning.
• Create long‑term account strategies, including product, pricing and consumer‑trend analysis.
• Manage the Sydney office and coordinate with local suppliers such as legal, IT, marketing and graphic design.
• Travel as required and collaborate with product development on channel strategy and online planning.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of leadership experience in consumer‑products sales, preferably with major retailers.
• 5+ years of formal people‑leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts and distributors in the APAC market.
• High personal integrity, strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Database management experience.
• Practical use of AI tools.
