Director of Procurement and Supply Chain

About the role

A growing organization is looking for a Director of Procurement and Supply Chain to lead its end-to-end supply chain function. The role covers procurement, supplier management and inventory control, with a focus on cost efficiency, supplier performance and operational continuity across manufacturing and project teams. It is a full-time senior leadership position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long-term procurement strategies aligned with business growth and set up governance frameworks for purchasing and supplier compliance
• Manage global and regional supplier relationships, lead contract negotiations and improve supply continuity, pricing and delivery timelines
• Oversee demand planning, forecasting and inventory strategies, keeping stock levels optimal and reducing costs through strategic sourcing
• Implement LEAN procurement practices and streamline workflows
• Keep ERP systems and procurement data accurate and improve reporting on spend and supplier performance
• Mentor and lead procurement and inventory teams and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of procurement/supply chain experience and 5+ years in a senior leadership role
• Strong expertise in sourcing, negotiation and cost reduction
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing or construction, certifications such as CPSM, CSCP or PMP, knowledge of global sourcing and logistics, and LEAN experience
