Director of Delivery

About the role

As Director of Delivery you will sit at the intersection of technology, product and business strategy, shaping how our teams plan, build and deliver innovative financial products for millions of customers. You will evolve and scale delivery capability in a high‑velocity fintech environment, embedding lean‑agile practices that improve predictability, speed and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve delivery frameworks that enable high‑performing product and engineering teams to deliver consistently.
• Embed advanced lean‑agile practices such as Kanban and Scrum at scale, and drive metrics‑based delivery improvements.
• Monitor performance indicators (cycle time, throughput, quality) to increase visibility and accountability.
• Establish lean portfolio planning, prioritisation and dependency‑management processes to shorten planning cycles.
• Align strategic priorities with execution across Product, Engineering, Risk, Customer and Revenue teams.
• Champion continuous delivery and modern engineering practices, strengthening automation, CI/CD maturity and release frequency.
• Identify systemic bottlenecks, remove constraints and translate delivery insights into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
• Build and lead a high‑performing delivery organisation, defining roles, capability frameworks and career pathways.
• Coach and mentor delivery leaders to foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technology delivery leadership, preferably within fintech or regulated digital environments.
• Proven track record scaling delivery functions and maturing agile practices across multiple squads or value streams.
• Deep understanding of lean‑agile principles and pragmatic application of scaled frameworks.
• Strong expertise in delivery metrics, flow optimisation and modern release practices.
• Demonstrated ability to improve delivery performance in fast‑moving organisations.
