About the role

Lead integrated, place‑based transport outcomes at scale across the North West precinct of Sydney. The role reports to Transport for NSW and is responsible for shaping customer‑focused transport solutions that connect communities and support NSW’s future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a precinct‑based team that integrates planning, investment and delivery to achieve transport outcomes across Penrith, Hawkesbury, Fairfield, Blacktown and The Hills Shire.
• Mobilise multi‑disciplinary, matrixed teams and partner with government, local councils and industry to remove barriers and optimise performance.
• Oversee program lifecycles from prioritisation through delivery, championing innovation, accountability and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as the primary Transport for NSW representative in the precinct, providing strategic advice, sponsoring business cases and ensuring coordinated, place‑based delivery.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience leading complex, integrated infrastructure or transport programmes.
• Proven ability to deliver place‑based, cross‑functional programmes at scale.
• Strong strategic capability to align local precinct priorities with enterprise‑wide objectives.
• Exceptional stakeholder leadership across government, industry and communities.
• Experience managing matrixed, multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Commercial and investment acumen across the programme lifecycle.
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent extensive professional experience.
