Director – Investments (Consumer Energy Focus)

About the role

This senior position leads end‑to‑end investment activity for a clean‑energy platform focused on consumer energy resources, storage, networks and enabling technologies. You will shape portfolio strategy, manage deal execution and work closely with sponsors, co‑investors and advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, model, structure and execute investment opportunities across consumer energy and infrastructure.
• Lead financial, technical, legal and regulatory due‑diligence streams.
• Engage directly with sponsors, stakeholders and investment committees.
• Oversee ongoing portfolio management and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate investment terms and structure deals with co‑investors and advisors.

Required profile

• 9–15 years of experience in infrastructure investment, project finance, M&A or energy‑focused advisory/principal investment roles.
• Background in an investment bank, infrastructure fund or leading advisory platform.
• Direct experience with consumer energy resources, distributed energy, storage or energy‑transition investments.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and commercial judgement in complex investment environments.
