About the role

The Deal Advisory Tax team at KPMG works on high‑profile transactions across Australia, serving private equity, infrastructure, property, financial services and more. As a Director focusing on Corporate M&A, you will join an energetic, market‑leading team delivering tax advice on headline‑making deals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tax due diligence for complex transactions.
• Provide structuring advice, including deal‑structure recommendations.
• Review transaction documentation and support post‑deal integration.
• Manage transaction‑related correspondence with the ATO and FIRB.

Required profile

• Tax professional with strong transactional experience.
• Proven commitment to client service and relationship building.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and mentor team members.
• Accounting, Finance or Law degree with a solid foundation in tax law.
