Director, Capital Insights & Solutions

About the role

The Director, Capital Insights & Solutions is a senior leader within ANZ Institutional, partnering with Relationship Managers, Product Partners and senior client stakeholders to originate and deliver strategic corporate finance solutions for the bank’s most significant customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic client engagement, influencing senior decision‑makers and positioning ANZ as a trusted adviser on capital structure, funding strategy and liquidity management.
• Create insightful content to support origination efforts across capital structuring, acquisition financing, debt capital markets, ESG financing and structured products.
• Deliver deep qualitative and quantitative analysis, translating complex financial information into clear recommendations for CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and Boards.
• Drive account planning and generate strategic ideas across Institutional’s industry segments, identifying value‑creating opportunities for clients and ANZ.
• Lead and develop a small team of specialists, fostering a high‑performance culture through coaching, empowerment and collaboration.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate finance, institutional banking, leveraged finance or capital markets, with a proven track record as a trusted adviser to senior executives.
• Advanced corporate finance analysis and financial modelling capability, strong understanding of financial statements and banking products.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence CEOs, CFOs, Treasurers and Boards.
• Deep knowledge of global market conditions, capital markets and strategic issues facing large corporate clients.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing high‑performing teams.
