Digital Marketing & Content Specialist (Part-Time)

About the role

A recruiter is partnering with a well-established accounting and advisory firm in Melbourne's eastern suburbs to hire a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist. This is a hands-on, part-time role of about three days per week, permanent, based in Blackburn, with pay of up to $100,000 plus superannuation pro rata. It suits someone who owns websites, improves SEO performance, uses data to drive decisions and turns subject matter expertise into digital content.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the firm's WordPress website
• Drive SEO strategy and improve organic search visibility
• Monitor and report on website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and SEO tools
• Develop and execute a content strategy that supports business growth
• Work with accountants and advisers to identify and package thought leadership opportunities
• Manage EDM campaigns and digital communications
• Identify ways to improve website UX, engagement and lead generation
• Coordinate external suppliers where required and use data to optimise marketing activity

Required profile

• Experience in a Digital Marketing, Digital Content, SEO, Website Manager or Marketing Specialist role
• Solid WordPress and website management experience
• Understanding of SEO best practices and content optimisation
• Ability to develop content plans and content calendars
• Stakeholder management skills and comfort working with subject matter experts
• Hands-on approach, owning execution end to end
• Experience in professional services, financial services, B2B or other technical industries is highly regarded

Required skills

• Google Analytics, Search Console and reporting tools
• WordPress
• CRM, marketing automation or lead nurturing platforms
• Tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign are highly regarded
