Digital Growth and Content Manager

About the role

Fitness Cartel Health Clubs and Merse Wellness are looking for a technically capable, commercially minded Digital Growth and Content Manager for its head office. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead digital growth across two expanding fitness, health and wellness brands, covering performance marketing, organic growth, social media and content. You will lead a small team while staying hands-on with the tools and platforms that drive digital performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead paid social, paid search and digital performance campaigns across both brands, managing budgets, audiences, copy and conversion performance
• Drive SEO, AI Overview, technical website compliance and organic growth initiatives
• Lead social media, content calendars, short-form video, campaigns, community engagement and brand storytelling
• Manage and develop a Digital Marketing Specialist and a Content & Athlete Management Specialist
• Collaborate with internal teams, creatives and external agencies, and report on leads, conversions, paid return, traffic and engagement
• Identify new digital trends, platforms, AI tools and e-commerce opportunities

Required profile

• Five-plus years' experience in digital, growth, performance, social media or content marketing
• Experience managing people or leading a small digital team
• Commercially minded, with an understanding of leads, sales, memberships and revenue
• E-commerce, retail, health, fitness, sport or wellness experience is highly regarded

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of Meta, Google and digital advertising platforms
• Proven organic social and content experience, including short-form video
• Working knowledge of SEO and AI-powered search and discovery
• Relevant qualifications or Google and Meta certifications are desirable
