Digital Designer

About the role

Handy Finance is looking for an ambitious Digital Designer to own the digital surfaces that matter most to customers – the website, application flow, and mobile app. You will work at the intersection of marketing and product, creating clear, confident experiences that drive conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise the UI/UX of handyfinance.com.au, focusing on conversion rate optimisation.
• Design and iterate the personal loan application flow, customer portal, and mobile app experience.
• Maintain and evolve the Figma component library for product and web.
• Translate customer feedback, heatmaps, and funnel data into design improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, using HTML & CSS to implement or adjust components directly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in digital design, UX design or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–6 years of digital or product design experience with a portfolio covering web and mobile/app work.
• Strong UX thinking with a focus on user perspective and conversion impact.
• Highly proficient in Figma, including prototyping and component libraries.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, writing clear specs and following implementation.
• Competent HTML and CSS skills to contribute to front‑end code.
• Excellent problem‑solving attitude and passion for continuous improvement.
