Fashion Designer

About the role

BNAH, an Australian fashion house with over 30 years of heritage, is looking for a creative and technically skilled Fashion Designer to join its in‑house design team. You will help shape seasonal collections from concept through to final production, ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s refined aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop seasonal collections, from initial sketches to finished garments.
• Translate creative direction into detailed design specifications, tech packs and production-ready assets.
• Assess fit samples, provide technical feedback and manage the fit process through to production approval.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of industry experience in fashion design or product development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, textiles and pattern making.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines, especially in a part‑time capacity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of pattern making and garment fit assessment.
