DevSecOps Manager – Build Secure CI/CD Platform

About the role

We are seeking a DevSecOps Manager to lead the design and operation of a self‑service platform that enables our engineering teams to deliver features quickly, securely and with high reliability. Based in Sydney and working in a hybrid model, you will sit at the intersection of software development and infrastructure, shaping how the company builds and runs its cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling to accelerate delivery and embed security as the default.
• Define, maintain and evolve infrastructure standards using Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Integrate automated security scanning, dependency checks, secret detection and policy enforcement into the software delivery lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering squads to shift security left and resolve risks early.
• Champion observability, reliability and operational excellence through monitoring, logging and runbooks.
• Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure patterns for networking, identity, permissions, encryption and workload isolation.
• Support secure containerisation and deployment on Kubernetes or ECS, including image scanning and runtime security.
• Strengthen incident‑response readiness by improving alerting, logging and operational processes.

Required profile

• Strong passion for building secure, scalable platforms.
• Ability to collaborate closely with product and software engineers.
• Experience working in a fast‑moving fintech environment is a plus.
