DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, build and operate APM’s Azure cloud platforms, driving automation, standardisation and DevSecOps across the technology lifecycle. This permanent role is based in Sydney (with options in Perth or Melbourne) and offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Azure environments for development, test and production.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and embed security controls in pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and application delivery, and implement monitoring, logging and alerting with Azure-native tools.
• Support incident response, problem management and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Azure or similar cloud environments.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Terraform and IaC principles.
• Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and security governance.
