DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Melbourne team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining end‑to‑end DevOps pipelines that support multiple development streams and ensure reliable, secure releases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines and integrated test automation.
• Deliver project outcomes on time, meeting quality standards and defined requirements.
• Continuously assess and improve DevOps maturity across teams.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems and support after‑hours deployments.
• Embed security controls and automated validation (DevSecOps) into deployment pipelines.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to other DevOps engineers.
• Configure, manage and monitor cloud and network security controls such as firewalls, security groups and routing policies.
• Identify emerging risks and issues that could affect project delivery.

Required profile

• Provide expert DevOps advice following industry best practices.
• Mentor and uplift DevOps capability across the program.
• Participate in after‑hours production support when required.
• Proactively identify and respond to new risks and issues.
