DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Security (12‑month contract)

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high‑security, mission‑focused team. You will design, deploy and manage secure cloud infrastructure while driving automation and continuous delivery across the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage scalable, secure cloud environments on AWS and Azure.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Bash and PowerShell to improve operational efficiency.
• Deploy and manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, reliability and security through logging, alerting and incident response.
• Collaborate with software engineers, cloud specialists and stakeholders to troubleshoot and streamline delivery.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in AWS and/or Azure services.
• Hands‑on experience with IaC and configuration‑management tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Track record building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI or equivalents).
• Current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance or ability to obtain required clearance.
