DevOps Engineer (6‑month contract)

About the role

The company is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its team in Perth, WA for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud‑based infrastructure and supporting end‑to‑end software delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for software releases.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS resources with Terraform.
• Containerize applications and services using Docker.
• Collaborate with development teams working on Angular front‑ends.
• Monitor, tune and support SQL databases.
• Assist with machine‑learning workloads where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or related software engineering roles.
• Ability to work onsite in Perth and adapt to a fast‑paced project environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and clear communication of technical concepts.
