About the role
We are seeking a proactive DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our team on a six‑month contract in Sydney. The role focuses on streamlining software delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines and automated cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to support multiple environments.
- Automate application deployments and ensure reliable, repeatable releases.
- Provision and manage infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, covering IaaS components.
- Monitor and optimise cloud platforms to maintain high availability and performance.
Required profile
- Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Available for a six‑month contract with the possibility of extension.
- Ability to work onsite in Sydney.
Required skills
- GitLab for CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
- Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code on AWS.
- Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and cloud deployment automation.
