Development Compliance Consultant

About the role

Bennett + Bennett is looking for a motivated Development Compliance Consultant to join its Brisbane office. You will work closely with planners, surveyors, engineers, clients and government authorities to ensure development approval conditions are met and projects progress smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, review and audit compliance documentation to satisfy development approval conditions and support plan sealing.
• Review development approvals, identify required actions and track compliance requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and government agencies to coordinate outputs.
• Monitor project milestones, track compliance requirements and drive actions to keep projects moving forward.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High‑level written and verbal communication skills; ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude with persistence to follow up outstanding matters.
• Interest in property development, planning, surveying or related industries and desire to build a career in the development sector.
