Despatch Coordinator

About the role

Gliderol, a leading Australian manufacturer of garage doors and access solutions, is seeking an organised and customer‑focused Despatch Coordinator for its Pinkenba operations team. You will coordinate daily dispatch activities, ensuring orders are processed accurately, scheduled efficiently, and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and customer deliveries.
• Process and verify orders to ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
• Prepare delivery paperwork, manifests and transport documentation.
• Liaise with warehouse teams to confirm orders are ready for dispatch.
• Communicate delivery updates with customers, drivers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve issues or delays.
• Maintain accurate records within dispatch and ERP systems.
• Support a safe, compliant and customer‑focused operation.

Required profile

• Experience in dispatch, logistics, warehousing, administration or customer service.
• Knowledge of transport compliance and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident communication and customer service abilities.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Required skills

• Experience using ERP systems.
• Familiarity with transport management or dispatch systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
