Desktop Support Officer - Part Time

About the role

Centorrino Technologies is looking for a Desktop Support Officer to join its Field Services team in Melbourne. This is an embedded, part-time contract role of 12 months, three days a week, supporting clients on site. You will work with Macs, PCs, tablets, server systems, network infrastructure and voice platforms, coordinating with specialist teams for server and network management.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the day-to-day operations of the customer's site running smoothly.
• Build a friendly relationship with end users and take ownership of technology issues and third-party organisations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to identify processes that can be improved or made more efficient.
• Seek customer feedback and work with peers to develop and implement processes where none exist.
• Keep documentation and procedures up to date.
• Work with other teams across the business to deliver a successful outcome for the customer.

Required profile

• A passion for customer service and a willingness to help people fix technical issues with computers and other devices.
• Effective communication skills, remaining calm and clear when troubleshooting.
• Flexibility to stay later or adjust schedules for unusual situations.
• A valid Vulnerable People / Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Police Check.
