Desktop Support Analyst – North West Sydney

About the role

Join a friendly, motivated IT team delivering great outcomes for end users across North West Sydney. As the primary Desktop Support Analyst you will support around 80 internal users, providing in‑person assistance and helping to raise the perception of IT support in NSW.

Key responsibilities

• Level 1 & 2 desktop support for hardware, software, peripherals, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Deploy and maintain endpoint security solutions, patching and compliance monitoring.
• Troubleshoot LAN, wireless access points, VPN connectivity and IP configuration.
• Support Teams Meeting Room devices and video‑conferencing equipment.
• Manage mobile devices via the MDM platform.
• Document tickets, create user guides and provide training using Jira and Confluence.
• Contribute to desktop, infrastructure and security projects.
• Participate in an on‑call roster (once every 9 weeks).

Required profile

• 24‑36+ months of IT support/helpdesk experience in a corporate environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Windows OS and Active Directory.
• Strong logical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with accountability and the ability to work independently.
