Desktop Support Analyst – Microsoft 365, Entra ID & Intune

About the role

We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our IT team in Sydney. You will provide first‑ and second‑line support for a modern, cloud‑first Microsoft 365 environment, working closely with both technical colleagues and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support onsite and remotely, troubleshooting desktops, applications, and endpoint issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Manage user onboarding and off‑boarding in Azure AD (Entra ID) and maintain groups, accounts, and access permissions.
• Support endpoint management through Intune, ensuring device compliance and security.
• Maintain endpoint security using Microsoft 365 E5 capabilities and Trend Micro (or similar) tools.
• Deploy and support laptops, desktops, peripherals and assist with system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations.
• Log and manage incidents in the ticketing system while working within a collaborative IT support model.
• Provide support to users across the business, including senior leaders.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in desktop/EUC support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, reliable, and solutions‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) administration.
• Azure AD / Entra ID user lifecycle management.
• Intune endpoint management and device compliance.
• Microsoft 365 E5 security, compliance, and identity features.
• Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
• Experience with Trend Micro or similar endpoint security tools (desirable).
• Familiarity with multi‑site environments and device rollouts/migrations (desirable).
