Deputy Responsible Manager - ACEASP

About the role

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Deputy Responsible Manager to support the Air Combat Electronic Attack Sustainment Program (ACEASP) at the Intermediate Level Maintenance (ILM) Facility, RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland. Working alongside the Responsible Manager (Senior Maintenance Manager), you will help deliver technical governance, airworthiness oversight and regulatory compliance with the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR), ensuring safe and compliant off-aircraft maintenance for RAAF F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to support aeronautical component production in line with ADF technical and regulatory airworthiness requirements.
• Work with ILM workshop staff and Technical Team Leads to identify, investigate and resolve maintenance issues.
• Work with the ILM Production Controller to achieve production targets safely, efficiently and on time.
• Collaborate with the program Responsible Manager and Quality Manager to ensure DASR and ISO certification compliance.
• Act as Aviation Safety Manager for the program.
• Manage, mentor and train Technical Team Leads, and conduct performance development evaluations.
• Carry out recruitment for technical staff as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or Diploma in Maintenance Management.
• Holds or can obtain DASA Form 4 Holder Responsible Manager accreditation.
• Engineers Australia Chartered status or meets the criteria for a Chartered credential.
• Experience or qualifications in Aviation Safety Management Systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.

Required skills

• High-level expertise with computer-based applications and systems.
• Familiarity with the ADF CAMM2 system.
