Dentist / Therapist (Implants or Orthodontics)

About the role

A well-established dental practice in the Wollongong region, known for high clinical standards and a patient-first approach, is looking for an experienced, AHPRA-registered Dentist to join its team on a full-time basis (flexible for the right clinician). The role suits someone passionate about dental implants or orthodontics who enjoys comprehensive treatment planning and long-term results.

Key responsibilities

• Comprehensive exams, diagnostics and treatment planning
• Restorative dentistry including crowns, bridges and complex rehabilitation support
• Implant consults and surgical/restorative implant dentistry within your scope
• Orthodontic assessment and treatment delivery (braces and/or clear aligners)
• Extractions and management of dental emergencies
• Preventive care, periodontal maintenance planning and patient education
• Cosmetic options such as whitening and smile enhancement as appropriate

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in clinical dentistry
• Current AHPRA registration and relevant insurances
• Availability for at least two days per week (full-time preferred)
• Postgraduate qualification in implants or orthodontics (e.g. Graduate Diploma), or demonstrable advanced experience in one of these areas
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to ethical, patient-centred care
