Community Physiotherapist - Wollongong

About the role

Alpha Allied Health is recruiting a Physiotherapist for its Wollongong team. This is a community-based role where you provide physiotherapy services to clients in their homes to help them stay independent and improve their quality of life. You can build your own caseload and set your own working hours, and there are future opportunities to grow into residential aged care and private settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical assessments, reports and physiotherapy interventions to community clients with a high level of professionalism and care.
• Maintain thorough client-related documentation.
• Work collaboratively with other allied health professionals and referring partners to achieve the best results for clients.
• Manage client and family feedback and take corrective action so services remain positive and responsive to client needs.

Required profile

• Tertiary physiotherapy qualifications from a recognised institution and current AHPRA registration.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Demonstrated skills and experience, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Current Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.
• National police check with no disclosable outcomes (or willingness to obtain one).
• Unrestricted Australian driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
