Dentist / Therapist - Busy 8-Chair Practice in Darwin

About the role

A highly regarded, high-demand dental practice in Darwin, Northern Territory, is looking for a Dentist to join its team at a large, busy 8-chair practice. The role suits both experienced clinicians and early-career dentists, including new graduates, who want clinical exposure, a steady patient flow and a supportive team. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and a strong oral health team, with chairside and front-desk support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning
• Provide preventive care: cleanings, exams, oral cancer screenings and patient education
• Carry out restorative work such as composite fillings, crowns and bridges
• Perform extractions and routine surgical procedures depending on your experience
• Offer root canal therapy depending on your scope and interest
• Gain exposure to cosmetic dentistry (whitening and smile enhancement)
• Manage dental emergencies and pain relief

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a Dentist
• Patient-first communication style and strong clinical standards
• Willingness to contribute to a collaborative team; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Orthodontic experience (including aligners) is a plus, not essential
