Dentist – Belconnen, North Canberra Dental Center

About the role

HCF is seeking a qualified Dentist to join its Belconnen‑North Canberra Dental Center. The role is full‑time, weekdays only, and focuses on delivering high‑quality, affordable dental care to HCF members.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical and preventive oral health services to HCF members.
• Meet individual KPI targets for productivity, clinical quality and CPD requirements.
• Maintain accurate, legible patient records and ensure compliance with AHPRA, Dental Board, radiology regulations and HCF policies.
• Promote preventive oral health care and the value of private health insurance.
• Support senior dental leadership in representing HCF interests to regulators and professional bodies.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure coordinated, cost‑effective patient care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry.
• Current registration as a general dentist in Australia.
• EPA Radiation Licence.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinical setting.
• Strong awareness of clinical risk management.
• Willingness to work across multiple dental centres if required.
