Dental Assistant – Paediatric Dentistry (Casual, 2-3 days/week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our specialist paediatric dental practice located 10 minutes west of Adelaide's CBD. This casual role offers 2‑3 days per week and involves both chair‑side assistance in the clinic and support for general anaesthesia procedures in a private hospital day‑surgery setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chair‑side with paediatric patients during routine appointments.
• Prepare and support general anaesthesia day‑surgery cases, ensuring compliance with hospital accreditation standards.
• Perform administrative duties such as patient record management and appointment scheduling.
• Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience working in a dental or medical setting, preferably with children.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, caring manner.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
