A Burleigh Heads dental centre is looking for a Dental Assistant for a full-time position, splitting time between chairside assisting and reception duties. The role suits someone who enjoys variety and wants to build skills, with a supportive team within a growing national dental network.

Key responsibilities

• Chairside assisting across a range of general dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms and supporting clinicians
• Maintaining high standards of sterilisation and infection control
• Supporting reception duties such as patient check-in, scheduling and phone enquiries
• Delivering patient care and customer service, and supporting day-to-day clinic operations
• Working collaboratively with dentists and the wider team

Required profile

• Dental Assistant experience is essential
• Reception experience is a bonus, or a genuine willingness to learn
• Reliable, adaptable and team-focused, available for rotating weekend shifts
• Blue Card required for paid dental work in Queensland

Required skills

• Chairside assisting and sterilisation
• Understanding of infection control standards
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
